Terms&Conditions
1. Booking, Deposits and Bond
All bookings require a minimum of 50% deposit (security deposit). The deposit secures the booking, staff, beverages, mobile bar, preparation, and related services for the event.
A security deposit is mandatory and can be paid via direct deposit or credit card upon proposal acceptance. If a deposit is not received, Iconic Sip reserves the right to release the date of the event.
A minimum bond of $100 will be paid before the event to cover any damages or breakages. Refer to clause 7 for "damages and breakages''. The whole bond amount less any charge for damages and breakages will be refunded within 7 days after the event. A client will always be notified if an expense is to be paid from the bond. A bond will only be used to pay a valid post event expense. Post event expenses include, but are not limited to, lost/broken glassware, additional services, additional guests and broken equipment.
2. Changes and Cancellations
Once the security deposit is paid, significant reductions (greater than 10%) in guest numbers are not accepted for bookings over 40 guests. For bookings under 40 guests, reduction in guest numbers are not accepted.
Increases in guest numbers are welcomed however Iconic Sip requests an appropriate notice period of a minimum 10 business days to ensure adequate staffing and supplies can accommodate a change in guest numbers.
The security deposit is strictly non-refundable. If the client cancels within 10 days of the event, the full balance of the event is due and payable to Iconic Sip.
If the reason for the cancellation is outside the client's control, Iconic Sip may agree to credit the security deposit for another booking within the next 6 months.
3. Refund and Credit Policy
Regardless of most circumstances, we do not refund booking deposits or total/full amounts paid.
Should Iconic Sip agree to a Credit Policy, the next booking must be made within 6 months from the date of the original canceled booking for the credit to be valid. Iconic Sip reserves the right to refuse a new proposed date if our services are already booked by other clients.
4. Final Payment
Final payment includes the total cost of services, parking fees, or other expenses. If only a booking deposit has been received, it must be paid no less than 14 days prior to the event date or as specified.
5. Payment Methods
We reserve the right to select another payment agreement via phone or email. A 2% surcharge applies to any credit card payment.
6. Additional Guests
Iconic Sip will conduct a headcount during each event. If it is discovered that additional guests are present at an event, Iconic Sip reserves the right to use the bond or credit card details to cover the cost of the additional guests at a rate which may be higher than if booked prior to the night.
7. Damages and Breakages
Any lost or broken glassware will be charged at $5 per glass, unless the glassware was broken by a staff member of Iconic Sip. If the client finds glassware after the event and arranges its safe delivery to Iconic Sip, no breakage fee will apply for the returned glassware.
Any lost or broken equipment or alcohol will be charged from the bond at a reasonable amount, unless the equipment or alcohol was lost or broken by a staff member of Iconic Sip. If the client finds equipment or alcohol after the event and arranges its safe delivery to Iconic Sip, no breakage fee will apply for the returned stock.
The client is responsible for arranging any necessary measures to protect their property against the operation of Iconic Sip services; which can include, but is not exclusive, to wine, cocktails, citruses, bar equipment and water. Whilst all care is taken, Iconic Sip takes no responsibility for any damage caused in the set-up, operation and pack-up of services and equipment.

8. Event Changes and Unforeseen Circumstances
If we are unable to provide agreed beverages/services, adaptations may be made in consultation with the client. Time-extension is approved at our discretion and requires a minimum spend agreed upon with the payee.
9. Attendance and Refunds
Monies for non-attendees will not be refunded. Guest numbers can only be increased once a booking is made, not decreased.
Late attendees are accepted and can be charged accordingly.
